"Letter from my Grand-Aunt to her cousin in America from November 1921. She recounts an occasion where she got those who were going to America to leave their boot prints in the soft muddy ground so that those family members left behind would be able to have something to cling to and to remember them by (and probably knowing that they may never see them again)!
