Pocket Watch

"This is a solid gold engraved (on the back and inner case) Swiss pocket watch. The watch belonged to my Father. The watch has top watch start/stop action. Roman numerals appear on the face of the watch. It is a chronograph watch which is a watch that is used as a stopwatch combined with a display watch. Louis Moinet invented the chronograph in 1816 for use in tracking astronomical objects. There was a chain originally attached to the watch which I have since removed because it was an odd chain. The watch is in immaculate condition"
