Children of Mary Book and Medal

"In Secondary School my nana Kathleen Curtin enrolled in the Children of Mary. She had to lead a good Catholic life and received a book, medal and blue veil as part of her enrolment. Many women wore the veil at their weddings and funerals as was the custom. It was a popular movement during her time in Presentation Secondary School, Castleisland."
