Baby's "Hygienic Feeder" Bottle

"A banana-shaped Victorian-Edwardian baby's bottle, designed as a hygienic feeder that could be easily cleansed. At one end of the bottle there is a hole for pouring in the feeding mixture, and at other end a similar hole which would have been covered by a rubber teat. The words "Hygienic Feeder" are moulded onto the top of the bottle. I have quite vivid memories as a young child of seeing my mother feeding my younger sister with such a bottle in the late 1930's."
