Child of Prague statue.

"It was my Grandmother's (1892-1962). It came to our house in 1958 when she and my Grandfather moved house. My mother treasured it. It lived in our house until 2011 when our parents died. The Child of Prague had a place in nearly every home in Ireland. He was placed in the garden on wedding days to ensure good weather. It sometimes worked! The practice still continues. My father repaired this statue several times over the years. "
