The singing nuns

"This collection of nun figureens were brought back to Ireland for the US by my aunt. My mother came from a family of 13, from Knock, Co. Mayo. Of their siblings, 9 joined religious orders. 6 of them remained so and these figures were bought as a present for my grandmother. There were 6, but 4 remain and were recently reunited when my father passed away and we were clearing the house. My mother had 2 and my aunt another two. They featured prominently on the mantlepiece in our grand parents house for many years. "
