Shoe horn and /or shoe extender

"This is a silver shoe horn or shoe extender. It may even be from the 1920s rather than the 1930s. The name Raoul, 240 Oxford St. is shown on the front. It is possible that it belonged to my maternal Grandmother, Kathleen Loftus/Cassidy, who lived with my Grandfather Michael Cassidy in Belgrove Road , Clontarf. Kathleen, from Meelick Co. Mayo, worked as a milliner in England before meeting her husband Michael from the nearby townland of Barnacogue, also in Mayo. For much of her life subsequently in Ireland, she paid visits to her relations in the UK and may have bought this shoe horn on one of these visits. It is for a female size and it is known that she had "difficult" feet!"
