Atlas and Cyclopedia of Ireland

"This book has been in the family for a long time and is an original edition, not a reprint, of approximately 250 pages. On the cover there is a woman playing the harp, with an Irish wolfhound looking on from behind. The book is divided into two parts: A Comprehensive Delineation of the Thirty-Two Counties, by P.W. Joyce, and the General History as told by A.M. Sullivan and continued by P. D. Nunan. There are many pictures throughout the book, including one of a Celtic cross, and Irish family names and coats of arms. I think the colour images are in quite an extraordinary condition for a book of its age. It’s a family heirloom and very important to me."
