Cash change machine

"This machine is from the well known Floods corner shop in Terenure which sold animal feed and accessories. I spent many happy years working there. When a purchase was made in the shop the docket and money was placed in this machine, and sent literally by "pully rope" across the ceiling to the office! The receipt and change was then despatched the same way back down to the retail assistant. They were very common in large retail stores in the 50s and 60s and bring back many happy memories."
