Dalymount Park Concert

"Described at the time as the biggest rock festival ever held in Ireland. The year was 1977. The crowd was estimated (depending on which report you believed) to be 12,000 or 15,000. Other acts not mentioned on this poster were 'The Radiators From Space'. Stepaside and Stagelee. The stage was 100 foot long and the lighting included 20+ landing lights. At the close of the event the crowd sang Happy Birthday to Phil. Garda reports said there was little or no trouble and all this for 4 quid and I still have my souvenir poster. "
