First Day of Issue - Durrow
"This is a stamp and postmark issued for the 1400 year anniversary of the death of St.Colmcille on the 9th June 1997. Durrow, Co.Offaly is famous for the site of the monastery of St. Colmcille and for the High Cross and Book of Durrow that survive today. On the anniversary in 1997 the parish hall in Durrow became a Post Office for one day only to issue the rare postmark. "
