"Purchased by Peter Curtis. (Ships Bosun) Tall ships – Clipper ships. Date 1923 to repair sail cloth etc ( My Grandfather) Passed on to his daughter Gladys Evelyn McCann (Nee Curtis) ~ 1952 (My mother) She used it to make clothes during the '50s and '60 and to carry out repairs for the family. Passed on to her Son Michael McCann. 21st August 2000 and used currently to carry out minor alterations to clothes etc. It is still in use. "
