World Cup 1990 wallchart

"Ahh this brings back great childhood memories. I was 12 at the time and it was my final year in primary school June 1990. This wallchart produced by the now defunct Telecom Eireann was pride of place in our classroom notice board. Each day the kids would rush in to class to be first to input the previous day's games results. As you can see it's only partially filled in as we broke for the next stage in our life journey at the end of June. On the last day of school I took this as a souvenir to remember the great time we had in that summer of 1990 - the country was in the grip of football mania and to be a child at this memorable time was just great ooh the goosebumps!!!
