'James and Mary' Commemorative Broach

"This is a broach made from a coin and has my Grandparents' wedding date. There are stories from my Father than they minded the broach well. My aunt gave it to me because I'd shown an interest in it. My grandmother was Mary Franklin and my grandfather was James Keane. I don't know what the coat of arms on the front represents. (Perhaps they represent the four nations of the U.K., as it's an old coin of the British Empire – George is on the other side)."
