1916 Rising Commemorative Brochure

"Commemorative brochure (22x18cms) of 20 pages published by Eason & Co. c. 1917-1921. Titled ‘The Rebellion in Dublin, April, 1916’, it features 17 pasted-in photographic prints which include depictions of Pearse, Connolly, Mc Donagh, Clark, Mc Bride as well as images of Dublin in the aftermath of the rebellion. Each image is accompanied by explanatory text. Also includes copy of a typed letter written by Connolly dated April, 1916. Brochure spine bound with original string. When I purchased a dresser in 1981 from a second-hand shop located at the junction of Jubilee Avenue and Antrim Road, Belfast, I brought it home and discovered the brochure in one of the three drawers.
