"In 1966 Bridget Moore (my grandmother) celebrated her 100th Birthday and received a gift of 5 punts from the office of the President.The accompanying letter was signed by the secretary of the department.Our family subsequently had the letter autographed by the then President Eamon De Valera.. In 2009 Bridget's daughter Delia (my mother)also celebrated her 100th Birthday .She received a gift from President Mary Mc Aleese this time for €2540 who personally sent her best wishes."
