Lady`s Mink Stole

"My husband`s mother wore this over her best coat to Mass etc in 1970`s when they were the hight of fashion. The head and feet and tail of the Mink Animal are very evident. My students in school are reviled by it when I demonstrate it for Social Change in History Class. Modern ladies cannot understood how such an accessory was ever in vogue-given animal rights etc. As a middle age person myself it helps me to understand that what we revere in one generation we may abhor in another-as humans we construct various meanings and values which change with time.
