RTE Trom agus Éadrom

"I looked up to Liam Ó Murchú and his TV programme Trom agus Éadrom when I was a secondary school student in RTÉ 2 channel land in the seventies. Having been brought up in the Church Of Ireland tradition, there was limited exposure to our Irish cultural heritage. I loved the Irish language in school & did well in it but, when the time came, I was discouraged by parents & teachers alike from taking it as a university subject. After much deliberation on my part, I wrote off to Liam for advice & this is his reply... I am now happily following my dream & living full time in the heart of Corca Dhuibne.....?"
