"This was presented to me by our friend, Reverend Monsignor Leonard O'Brien, retired Parish Priest of our current parish of Clonakilty. While serving as Parish Priest of our family's former parish of Ballincollig, Monsignor Leonard, a big 'fan' of my granduncle's writings, unexpectedly travelled to my home parish of Saint John the Baptist, Clontarf, Dublin in order to concelebrate the Funeral Mass of our late father, Fred, who departed this world in 2001.
