Irish Press Club Na Nóg - Membership Certificate

"Club Na Nόg was a children’s club run by the Irish Press newspaper with Captain Mac at the helm. Joining the club was done by completing the membership coupon from the newspaper and sending this off with 6d worth of stamps. In return, each new member got a personalised certificate and the club badge and could enter weekly competitions. At its peak the club boasted a membership of around 160,000. Members were encouraged to recruit others to join the club. Such was the height of our Social Media in the 1960’s ! "
