Flight Menus from visit of Pope John Paul II

"Two menus, for the special flight of Pope John Paul II and his party, from Rome to Dublin on the 29th September 1979 and his return trip from Shannon to Boston on 1st October 1979, aboard the Aer Lingus flagship plane 'St. Patrick'. The menu includes a letter of greeting to His Holiness by David Kennedy, then Chief Executive of Aer Lingus, in Italian, Polish, Irish and English. The fare, also multi-lingual, for the inward trip was just a good Irish breakfast, however the menu for the outward trip to Boston, includes an extensive selection, from Beluga Caviar with iced vodka, to fresh lobster with truffles, and all the best Irish food and drink befitting a Pontiff and his party."
