"A photo of Jim Figgerty the legendary character from the Irish Fig Roll adverts of the the late 60s early 70s (played by former Jacobs employee and well known tenor singer and actor Patrick Griffin from Drimnagh). These ads still exist in the RTE archives and are surely worth a dusting down. At the time they captivated the imagination of the nation and Jim was in high demand for guest appearances at shopping centre openings and the like! Only Jim Figgerty knew the secret of how Jacobs got the figs into the fig rolls!"
