Ireland v France International Rugby dinner menu 1972/1973

"It was practice in the 1970s for the Rugby International host team to have the visiting team to dinner following the match, men only were invited. These cards show the menu for the evening, the team players, officials and toasts. The Hibernian Hotel on Dawson Street now the Hibernian Shopping Mall was the chosen venue because of their reputation for culinary excellence. The Menus were courtesy of one of the waiting staff, who were men only also, William Downey of the Red Bank Restaurant, D'Olier Street."
