Racing Binoculars, Case and Photograph

"These binoculars are from my father who was a part-time horse trainer in the 50's. There is a photograph here of himself receiving the 'President's Plate' from the President at the time, Sean T. O' Kelly. On the case there are various badges for the owners' and trainers' stand in the various race meetings – for example, Limerick Races 1956, etc.. They go from 1954-80's. The binoculars were originally brought from my mother from America in 1953, she gave them to my father for Christmas that year. His horse was called Warren's Court Lad, his biggest success was in the Galway Hurdle in 1955."
