Iron Door Knocker from Galway Gaol

"Iron Door Knocker in the shape of a horseshoe, with a lion’s head in the centre and a hand holding the top of the knocker. James Rice (my father) was part of the demolition team of the old Galway Gaol (late ‘50s or so). The hand that is at the top of the knocker now has painted red nails, and I believes this was one of his daughters.."
