School strap

"This old school leather strap was given to my husband by a retired school teacher, and I believe it was used to slap the schoolchildren. (see the thickness of it)!! I did not get that type of treatment in school, but my husband and his brothers often talk about the wallopings they witnessed when they were children in school."
