"My mother had one of these on the old mantelpiece at home in the parlour. She went on to have 15 children and one of us (little divils she used to call us) broke it. I saw this in town in the 80's and I got it for her and it sat high up on a shelf in the kitchen with all sorts of useful things in it. It managed to escape being broken by her 65 grandchildren. "
