Miners Lamp

"This was my Great Grandfather, Micheal's railway lamp which he used for giving direction to the train drivers at his level crossing. He worked on the Birr Roscrea railway line run by Great southern and Western railway company from 1900s up until the line closed in 1960. It works by spinning the handle and green and red glass and clear for ordinary light."
