"If only a tea caddy could talk ...so many memories and occasions growing up surround this item which was beside the steel kettle and underneath the Sacred heart lamp . This tea caddy was usually full of 'dusty' Mauve label Lyons tea leaves and it was only in the 1980's when Mam and Dad eventually changed to the modern teabags ! The tea caddy is still in use today passed on to another generation."
