Frank Carty's Dispatch Pouch

"Frank Carty TD (1897-1942), was my father's cousin and after Frank's death my father, Brian was given Frank's dispatch pouch which Frank had previously used in Ireland's struggle for freedom in the early twentieth century. The family have kept this memento, which must have held many an important message in Frank's exciting life as a young volunteer and as Commandant of the Tubercurry Battalion in 1918."
