Decorative box

"This decorative trinket box was made by my great aunt Phil Meegan (Co. Monaghan)during her stay in hospital in Dublin where she was being treated for TB. It is made up of a series of panels from old xrays and used greeting cards and stitched together with embroidery thread. Auntie Phil made several of these boxes in varying sizes but this is the only one that survives and I treasure it. It was passed to me by her sister May Ratcliffe (nee Meegan). "
