Quilt

"In the Magheragall Parish, County Antrim, there is evidence that people made quilts in which you paid to have your name added to a quilt and then the quilt was auctioned. This is an example that survived. It is red in colour with a centre piece that reads ‘GOD SAVE THE QUEEN’. It was pre-partition at the time so it has a HARP in the very centre, a symbol that would have fallen into disuse in the area after partition I think. Interestingly, Magheragall is also the home church of Ernest Blythe, his parents are buried here."
