"It's a little known English/Irish dictionary from 1935 that was given to my husband's grandfather who was Swedish but a great lover of the Irish language. This grá was passed down to our children who all attended a gaelscoil and our eldest is in a gael-choláiste. The lettering used for the Irish translations is the old fashioned Irish lettering (e.g. leanbh is written leanb with accent over b). The preface is definitely of its time! "Ireland's history has prevented her from developing a distinctive culture comparable in fullness and perfection to the great cultures of many nations to-day.""
