Irish Temperance League Medal
"A gold shamrock shaped medal with the letters I.T.L. Given to William John Dickson as a prize for an essay competition in 1900, he was eleven at the time. The competition was run to encourage temperance in the children of east Belfast at the time. He belonged to Westbourne school off the Newtownards road. It was worn proudly every day by him and now by his daughter Florence."
