"An All Ireland Final which my late father tried to never miss, especially if his beloved Cork were playing. It being the centenary year off the formation of the GAA, the final was held on Semple Stadium, Thurles. I have great memories going to matches with my dad from my teenage years but my brothers always went from when they were very small. The most vivid memory was the tinfoil covered egg and onion sandwiches and flasks of tea carefully packed by my mother to be eaten sitting in the boot at the side of the road in Urlingford. I was so jealous of 'the boys'. "
