Papal Visit - Stamp

"This is an official commemoration stamp from the popes visit in 1979. This was a huge occasion at the time and the whole country was talking about it. My mother bought this stamp and put it away for safe keeping. It's great that we can take it out now and send it into the National Treasures project. I wonder have many other copies of this stamp survived. It's also amazing to think that a stamp only cost 12p at the time. "
